Central Railway has begun a scheme under the name, रेल परिवार देख रेख मुहिम - in which mapping of approximately one lakh employees of Central Railway with their residential address (both residing in railway colonies and non-railway colonies) along with their mobile number is being done. Their daily attendance through mobile by leave sanctioning authority (unit wise) have been started along with instruction that they will report everyday about their wellbeing and of their families also. If any member of the family find symptoms of COVID19, they would be brought immediately to the nearest railway hospital for further necessary action.
Different officers have been nominated at different level including medical officers who will keep a watch for medical assistance whatever the case may be. Under the Scheme, all the colony care committees consisting of different nominated officers and supervisors/welfare inspectors have been activated. The details of “Aarogya Setu App” have been circulated to all railway employees by every means such as personal message, and through unions/associations to spread this scheme.
